my first week in amsterdam

Hey!
I'm starting thing blog to just organize myself and my experiences. its weird because I like everyone I'm with but i also kind of hate them. I love this city but i hate it, i love this subject but i hate it. everything is rather wishy washy and i really should sort myself out. So this is it.
Landing in Amsterdam was weird, because One, there was a major mix-up. I was informed that my flight had changed, so I was looking for a girl on my flight, when really 2 other people where on it. They claim to have not seen me, but I'm pretty sure we were so close together that it would have been impossible to miss me. also it was 2 against one, thats not fair. Like its scarier for me to approach 2 people who know each other rather then 1 girl i might know. I know its stupid, but whatever I was nervous. I'd rather be alone and unprepared then with 2 people who hated me. they seem like the type. you know? oh well.
im pretty some people in my program just saw me in my underwear. oh well. should i hide? too late.
this is whats happening.
oh wait its not them. they jut also like to yell in english
anyway i got lost in the airport and no one could find me because no one could find me eventually i had to jack wifi from starbucks and set up camp until someone found me. I was there 3 hours i should have been there 30 minutes.
but like whatever its not even a big deal at all.

we did things like the red light district, which was also cool. it didn't really click for me until i saw a man and a prostitute talking and then he went inside and she shut the curtain and i was like THEYRE HAVING SEX RIGHT NOW. I BET HE THINKS HES REAL SMOOTH AND SHES LIKE BETTING HERSELF HOW BIG HIS JOHNSON IS.
also a canal boat tour, which is wonderful if you're brand new to the city like i was. its a perfect perception of a beautiful place from an angle you never even thought of.
We went to the Hague, which was really interesting! Except for the lecture... but the city was nice and the history quite fascinating. I love learning about the royals and the wars. However, I am a history kid. I almost failed math twice in high school but thanks to my awesome charisma and ability to cry on command I pulled through with C's or D's. After the most boring lecture ever on modern politics, we went to the beach!! SO MUCH FUN. seriously is like a less douchey seaside heights but actually awesome!

one of my favorite things so far are the students i've met. seriously all of them are so open and willing to share and bear with my ignorance. they love my failures of attempts at dutch and they are genuinely kind to us. I could sit in the campus bar and talk to those kids all day and learn more then i have in years f public school education. Every single student I've met is a wonder person and I cannot wait to see what next week brings!

Social update: My goal is to meet a wonderful dutch boy to date me and to take me bike riding and to show me all of the holes in the wall but then I have to go to america and I'll never see him again. Then I talk about "my love in amsterdam" and I dream of returning but i never do. Like honestly that sounds like AWESOME. i'm currently looking for candidates
